Well, it’s been so long since I have written!  As I’m sure you all know we’re in a really weird season right now and my life has changed considerably since my last post.  Covid-19 has interrupted all of our lives and made life more difficult in so many ways!  Things I never thought I would experience have happened this year.  It seems so much has been shaken.  The one thing we can count on that will never be shaken is God’s unfailing love.  Hebrews 13:8 reassures us with this: “Jesus Christ is (eternally changeless, always) the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Amp.)  As the earth shakes and moves in this uncertain time, we can look to the One who will never change.  Hebrews 12:27, “Now this, yet once more, indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.”  Has anyone else noticed this shaking?  It’s as if we are in a giant sifter and only the things that have eternal value will stand.  If you are putting your hope in “things unseen” you are on the right track and can rest in knowing Him and trusting that He’s got you!  If you have found that the things you gave priority aren’t giving you peace right now, then it’s time for a renewal.  God will never disappoint you and He is able to bring calm to your heart in this storm.  Get into His Word, call out to the Lord Jesus, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you.  Then, you can be ready for whatever comes, because He gives you a firm foundation.
